Use this checklist to inspect every batch photo before you send money. Six angles, six checkpoints, zero guesswork.

The Purpose of QC Photos

QC photos are the only way to verify what you are buying before you send money. The Hipobuy Spreadsheet requires sellers to provide at least six standard photos: front, back, side, detail, tag, and packaging. These photos are your defense against scams, wrong batches, and unexpected quality issues. Learning to read them correctly is a skill that pays off on every order.

Angle 1: Front View

The front view shows the overall shape, symmetry, and alignment. For shoes, check the toe box shape, the spacing between panels, and the overall silhouette. For hoodies, check the print placement, the alignment of the graphic, and the symmetry of the design. For jackets, check the panel alignment, the zipper placement, and the overall proportion. The front view should look balanced. If one side looks different from the other, that is a red flag.

Angle 2: Back View

The back view reveals details that are often missed in the front view. For shoes, check the heel tab angle, the back panel alignment, and the heel curve. For hoodies, check the back print placement and the alignment of any rear graphics. For jackets, check the back panel construction, the collar alignment, and the overall shape from behind. The back view is where many factory errors are visible.

Angle 3: Side View

The side view is critical for silhouette accuracy. For shoes, check the swoosh placement, the midsole height, and the overall profile. For hoodies, check the sleeve length, the shoulder drop, and the side seam alignment. For jackets, check the sleeve taper, the side pocket placement, and the overall side profile. Compare the side view to a retail reference. The silhouette should match.

Angle 4: Detail Close-Up

The detail photo shows stitching, hardware, logos, and material texture. For shoes, check the stitching density, the lace quality, and the logo embossing. For hoodies, check the print texture, the drawstring aglets, and the interior fleece. For jackets, check the zipper pull, the snap buttons, and the stitching on stress points. Zoom in on this photo. Small details are where accuracy is proven.

Angle 5: Tag and Label

The tag photo shows the interior label, size tag, and care instructions. Check the font accuracy, the spacing, and the material of the tag. Some factories use the correct tag but wrong font. Others use the right font but wrong spacing. Compare every detail to the retail reference. The tag is a common place for factories to cut corners.

Angle 6: Packaging

The packaging photo shows the box, bag, or wrapper. For shoes, check the box label, the tissue paper, and any included accessories. For clothing, check the poly bag, the hang tags, and the stickers. Packaging is often overlooked but matters for resale and completeness. Even if you do not care about the box, the packaging photo confirms the seller is serious about presentation.
